Wow! It's hard to believe that it's been three years since we last gathered together. By the grace of God, we've made it through two years of a global pandemic along with personal family matters. We were excited to come together for fellowship and golf. We played four courses: Myrtlewood - Pinehills, Myrtlewood - Palmetto, Wild Wing Avocet, and Myrtle Beach National - Kings North. All courses were in exceptional condition. We had a rainy day on Sunday afternoon but rescheduled for Monday morning. We had a great time this year, although a few individuals had to return home early, and Jackie McDonald couldn't make it!

Rev. Dr. Stephone A. Berry, shared the word from 1 Timothy 3:1-13 this year. He emphasized the need for men to stand in their right position with God, in their families, their communities, and all they encounter in life so as to bring glory and honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Dr. Berry shared the 20 attributes of a Godly man identified within this text and discussed in detail in The Measure of A Man: Twenty Attributes of a Godly Man by Gene A. Getz.

This year's attendance, from (L to R): Pastor Jerome Belton, Lighthouse for Christ Ministries, Camden, SC. Dea. Ronald Neely, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Terrell, TX. Rev. Dr. Stephone A. Berry, Christian Faith Fellowship, Columbia, SC. Rev. Joseph King, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Cayce, SC. Pastor Thomas E. Harrell, Jr., H2O Community Church, Petersburg, VA.

This year's overall winner (GROSS) was Ronald Neely(Forney, TX). He was heavily chased and challenged by Stephone Berry (Columbia, SC), who was the overall winner by (NET). Ronald shot an 84 in the first round, and Stephone an 85 on Myrtlewood-Pinehills. Ronald shot an 84 in the second round, followed by Joseph King with an 88. Stephone won the third round with a 90 over Ronald's 92. Ronald won the final round at Myrtle Beach National-Kings North with an 85, followed second with an 89 by Stephone Berry. The weather was great during the tournament, with a few showers on Sunday. Overall, this year's tournament was a success, and we look forward to meeting and fellowshipping with each other next year. We hope you will join us next year!
